Celebrating The Woman Who Inspires Me.

As many of you know, today is international women’s day. I wanted to take today to write a post about the woman I admire the most, My mother. My mom is an incredible woman. She lights up every room she walks into with her funny personality and her contagious giggle. She first became a mother at the young age of 21, and soon had to learn how to become both a mother and a wife. Juggling a baby and a husband, she graduated college when my sister was just 3 years old. BADASS. She went on to raise my sister, had my brother at the age of 26, and then me 3 years later at 29. She was a stay at home mom, watching the 3 of us grow up and molding us into the people we are today. With my dad working most hours of the day, she had to do a lot of it on her own. My mother is one of the strongest women I know. Her and my father created a beautiful life together and built a stable and loving household for my siblings and I. Fast forward 30 years, and she is 5o and FABULOUS. My parents only continue to surprise us with how amazing they are everyday. My mother gets to live the amazing life she deserves, with a big beautiful house she designed, and a big fancy car in the driveway. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without my mother by my side. I hope to be half the woman, mother, and wife she is when the time comes for me. I love you mom, and I hope all of you celebrate the women you look up to today. XOXO
